Our athletes FEAR the prowler.
We call it the Prowler of Death.
Many have lost their cookies using this bad boy.
Most can’t walk after 1 or 2 sets.
But, once we build you up, you’re pushing the Prowler with 5, 6, 7 and sometimes 8 plates.

Got a Disturbing Message Today

Not cool.
Got a message from a Strength Coach today who was training a Lacrosse Team for 3 weeks. The program was designed for longer but as a team they quit early!
WTF!?!?!?
This is why we screen athletes and parents prior to being accepted into our program.

Performance prep for a sport should be a regular practice.
Use it or lose it holds very true for this.
This is why I am baffled at athletes who train hard and remain committed the entire off season, but once the season approaches they cease this training and only focus on the sport itself.

Underground Strength Training 37 years ago

Nothing pretty.
No fancy equipment.
Yet much of the training in this Polish Weightlifting video (from early 1970’s) is still NOT being performed today in the states, nearly 40 years later.
Instead I see fancy and complicated.
BIG mistake, especially if you end up banging heads with an Underground trained athlete….
